All-Terrain Vehicle Riding

The name of the ATV club is "Camp-2 Trail Riders." This Club was established in July of 1994. All the trails are clearly marked with signs provided to the Club by the State of Maine. ATV signs are usually red and white. There are two woods trails.  More...(click)

Biking

The Rangeley area offers some great Mountain Biking. The terrain is mountainous and the views are fantastic. You'll experience single and double track, gravel roads, logging roads and wilderness riding. Birding

Hunting

Skeet & Trap

Skiing - Alpine

Saddleback Ski Area gives you big mountain adventure on peaks stretching to over 4,000 feet. If you hike, walk, run, climb, ski, snowboard, snowshoe, or slide, Saddleback is designed for family fun and enjoyment for all ages and abilities.  More...(click)  

Skiing - Nordic

The RANGELEY CROSS COUNTRY SKI CLUB trail system totals 65 kilometers made up of several interconnecting loops. These loops wind through pristine forests, with intermittent fields and broad panoramic vistas. Sliding/Tobagganing

You have the kids and you want to get outside and do something fun that won't cost much. Get or bring some inexpensive sleds, inner tubes, or a toboggan; and find a good hill. For the real thrill seekers, the Mingo Springs Golf Course has several excellent long hills.  More...(click)

Snowshoeing

Snowmobiling

Rangeley offers approximately 150 miles of groomed trails, which connects with hundreds of more miles of trails maintained by other area clubs. The Rangeley trails are maintained with three large tractors and groomed daily as the season progresses.  More...(click)

Swimming

The cool, clean waters of the Rangeley Region offer many enjoyable swimming opportunities. Public swimming areas are found at Lakeside Park in Rangeley Village and at the Rangeley Lakes State Park.  More...(click)

Tennis

The Rangeley Region is fortunate to have town-maintained, free-of-charge tennis courts available to the public at Lakeside Park in Rangeley Village and at the Oquossoc Park in Oquossoc Village.  More...(click)

Wildlife Viewing

Wildlife viewing in the area can take several interesting forms. There are also some basic rules that one must follow: When spotting a moose, don't stop in the middle of the road with all four doors open. Do not pick up or disturb any wildlife.   More...(click)
