Performing Arts
The Rangeley Friends of the Arts (The RFA) brings the Arts to Life through local theatre productions, offering popular and classic musicals, dramas, and comedies for locals and visitors. The popular Annual Rangeley Health & Wellness Benefit Concert draws hundreds every summer.

Art galleries throughout Rangeley and the surrounding area are filled with painting, photography, sculpture, jewelry, and glass. You'll discover something unique and intriguing is always on exhibit. History
The Rangeley Lakes Region Historical Society—also known as Historic Rangeley—works to preserve the region's history and engage the public through its museums, collections, programs, exhibits, and events. Historic Rangeley runs the Outdoor Heritage Museum in Oquossoc Village, the Rangeley History Museum in downtown Rangeley, and numerous other programs that fulfill its mission.
Outdoor Heritage Museum

This charming small museum shares the unique history that has made the Rangeley region one of the premier outdoor destinations in America. Immerse yourself in the stories of Rangeley icons like Carrie Stevens, Herb Welch, Cornelia "Fly Rod" Crosby, and many others through various artifacts, vintage film, and art.
Hours: July and August: Tuesday – Sunday, 10 AM to 4 PM; May, June, September through October 20th: Wednesday – Sunday, 10 AM to 4 PM
Rangeley History Museum

Be engaged by the stories of the pioneering families who created a town by logging the forests and building farms in the boulder-strewn wilderness. Learn how this rough and tumble existence transformed into Rangeley's Gilded Age with grand hotels, steamboats, and legendary sporting camps.

Maine Forestry Museum

Centrally located between the headwaters of the Androscoggin and Kennebec Rivers, Rangeley was once a Maine logging center. The museum boasts an extensive collection of logging artifacts collected over 40 years. Discover their captivating collection, with carvings, dioramas, oil paintings, photographs, original logging documents, manual and heavy equipment from primitive logging operations, and a chainsaw collection from the 1930s.
Hours: Mid-June to Labor Day, Wednesday – Sunday, 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM; Labor Day through Columbus Day, Thursday – Sunday, 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM; Columbus Day Weekend, Saturday and Sunday only, and by appointment.
Wilhelm Reich Museum

Dig into information based on Wilhelm Reich's books, manuscripts, and private archives. The museum's mission is to preserve the primary sources that form the basis of our knowledge about Reich's life and work so that present and future generations may study them in unaltered form.
